Wire & Cable Marking
Specialized labels can be used to identify a wire or cable's pairing, current, hazard or any other critical information. Two of DuraLabel's most popularly used wire and cable marking labels are Shrink Tubing and Self-Laminating Wire Wraps.
Shrink-Tubing
DuraLabel Shrink-Tubing is made from a polyolefin material designed to shrink when heated. The DuraLabel PRO Series Printers allow you to print information on the tube. The tube can then be slipped over the wire end. Once heat is applied, the tube shrinks to a tight and lasting fit. DuraLabel Shrink tubes provide permanent and professional looking wire identification.

Self-Laminating Wire Wraps

Use the DuraLabel PRO or DuraLabel 2000 to organize, categorize, and identify wires and cables by color and printed information.
Self-Laminated Wire Wraps are made with a special cryogenic tape. The first of its kind in the industry. Designed to "self-laminate" around itself, these labels can be used on all wires and cables, terminated or not. A clear laminate (shown right) wraps around the printed portion to provide labels lasting protection.
These wraps come in six vivid colors and great for organizing wires and cables for a professional look. Color-coding quickly and efficiently gets wire and cable identifications in easy to see order.
DuraLabel self-laminating wire wraps can also be used to label tubing and conduit, as well as other cylindrical objects.
