Even though all DuraLabel PRO Ribbons are chemically resistant, some label and sign applications demand extra protection. For these applications, DuraChem Ribbons provide the necessary chemical resistance.
Thermal Transfer prints from DuraChem Ribbon offer premium chemical resistance. Labels made with both DuraChem Tape and DuraChem Ribbon have been tested and shown to perform well after exposure to Ethanol, Isopropanol and even scratching.
To achieve the highest level of performance, make sure to use this ribbon with DuraChem Tape. The two can purchased together as the DuraChem Tape & Ribbon Kit. DuraChem Ribbon is also specially designed for printing with the DuraLabel PRO Printer.

Applications: Combined with DuraChem Supply, this ribbon is commonly used for printing labels and signs used to identify laboratory slides, drums, household chemicals, automotive products, durable goods and warnings. This supply complies with FDA CFR 175.105 for indirect food contact.

Resistance Tests (Colorfastness Tester):
- Ethanol: 30 cycles at 500 grams with a cotton cloth
- Scratch: 50 cycles at 200grams with a stainless steel pointed tip
- Isopropanol: 30 cycles at 500 grams with a cotton cloth.
